Detox Benefits For Overall Health

First thing is to reduce the amount of food you eat to give your digestive system a rest and allow the body to focus on cleansing and not digesting.

This is why almost all detox diets start with a period of fasting, such as drinking only vegetable juices for a few days.

If this sounds barbaric to you, listen up!

You have been raised in a society that strongly promoted a diet high in carbs and very low in fat.

Thing is fat is a far cleaner burning fuel for you than carbohydrates and generates far less free radicals.

Glucose is an inherently “dirty” fuel as it generates far more reactive oxygen species (ROS) than fat.

ROS is a phrase used to describe a number of reactive molecules and free radicals derived from molecular oxygen.

So if you don’t want to do a juice fasting type of diet, switch to a very low carb high fat and moderate protein diet.

Since fat is a cleaner burning fuel, you will be greatly reducing the (ROS) you get from your diet.

You should always start with the colon so as you continue your detox you don’t create a roadblock where things are plugged and back up on you.

The easiest and best way for you to start is with an organic coffee enema.

Enemas have been around since the dawn of time and have even been recorded in biblical scripts.

Numerous studies have been done on the detoxifying benefits of coffee enemas.

In fact they are a key component in treating cancer patients at the very successful “Gerson Institute”.

It is no wonder when you look at all the benefits an organic coffee enema has.

You see, coffee enemas are powerful in detoxing the body due to some amazing compounds within the coffee.

These compounds stimulate the liver to produce Glutathione S transferase, a chemical which is known to be the master detoxifier in our bodies.

Here are just a few things a coffee enema can do:

To make the solution, put a little over 1 quart of clean water in a pan and bring it to a boil.

Add 2 flat tablespoons of organic coffee (or the coffee amount that has been prescribed for you, the Gerson Program recommends 3 rounded Tbsp.).

Let it continue to boil for five minutes, then turn the stove off, leaving the pan on the hot burner.

Of course you want to allow it to cool down to a very comfortable, tepid temperature. Test with your finger.

It should be the same temperature as a baby’s bottle. It’s safer to have it too cold than too warm; never use it hot or steaming; body temperature is good.
